Wednesday: What are You Reading?

In the spirit of new comic book day, Wednesdays are dedicated to discussing anything on your reading list right now! Have you picked up any new releases today? Finally started a novel you've been putting off for way too long? Keeping preoccupied with some fanfiction? Don't hesitate to talk about whatever story's on your mind!
Let us know what you've been reading this past week and what's next on your queue! If you have any spoilers in your comment, you can use the following code to help censor them:
Remember to stay positive and constructive in these discussions! If you're not a fan of the comic, book, fanfic, etc. that someone else is enjoying, there's no need to partake in that particular conversation.

I took a pause and sped through 'the marsh king's daughter' by karen dionne to get away. Very good! I recommend if anyone's into suspense/thriller, though there are some warnings...
Definitely taking recommendations if anyone wants to send some my way!

The last I enjoyed were Anthony Doerr's 'All the Light We Cannot See' and Omar El Akkad's 'American War'. And I will always recommend Kirino Natsuo's 'Out' though that's almost twenty years old by now. (Back when 'Out' was first released in Japan, there was basically a wave of panic that the feminists were now going to murder all husbands everywhere lol)
