Bingo Prize Claims!

July 31st is drawing to a close, and it's time to shout BINGO! and receive your awesome prizes!

To receive your prize(s), comment to this post with:

• A link to your bingo card


• An indication of which row(s)/column(s)/diagonal(s) you're claiming (or if you're claiming a blackout)


• A link to the fills, or a link to a round-up post if you've already made one elsewhere

You will then receive your prize! Please be patient with us; prizes may take a day or two to sort out after you have posted your claim. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out fills that other people have created, or to head on over to the next post to pick up a card for the new round!

A quick refresher on the rules for qualifying works:

• Fills must be original and not created for any other organized fandom challenge (such as bangs, exchanges, etc). You are welcome to use supplementary prompts from any source (including 890fifth, avengerskink, etc). Special exception: works created for the 2015 C-IM Tiny Reverse Bang can be counted as bingo fills!


• Fills must have been posted after you received your bingo card, and before July 31st midnight (in the timezone of your choice)


• Fills can be posted wherever you like, and do not need to be tagged as being for the bingo (although we encourage that you do so!)


• Fills can be either fic (500+ words) or art (no manips)


• A fill may only count toward ONE space/prompt. This includes multi-chaptered fills.

New Bingo Round: BINGO 2015!

The old round has come to an end; a new game begins! If you have fills you'd like to claim for the previous round, please check out here. If you're interested in getting a new bingo card, this post is the place to be!

The goal: Fill prompts to complete a line (row, column, or diagonal). Feeling adventurous? Try for a blackout (fill every prompt on your card).

• Fills must be original and created specifically for your bingo card. They must not have been submitted for any other organized fandom challenge (such as bangs, exchanges, etc). You are welcome to use supplementary prompts from any source (including 890fifth, avengerskink, etc). Special exception: works created for the 2015 C-IM Tiny Reverse Bang can be counted as bingo fills!


• Fills can be either fic (500+ words), art (no manips), or podfic (500+ words)


• A fill may only count toward ONE space/prompt. This includes multi-chaptered fills.

Posting fills:
Fills can be posted wherever you like, but must be tagged with something like 'bingo', 'cap-ironman bingo fill', etc. We encourage (but do not require) you to post your fics to the comm with the 'bingo!' tag, use the #stonybingo tag on tumblr, or add your fic to the AO3 collection.

Cards and prompts: Some prompts are specific, some are open to interpretation. Let us know if you would like clarification on one of your prompts. For image prompts, you are not required to stick to the same format or universe, though you may choose to do so. (For example, if your visual prompt is a 616 panel, you don't have to do a 616 fill.)

You have the option to include KINK prompts. Sorry, we are not allowing omissions. If you receive a prompt on your card that you don't know or dislike, just work around it. Randomness and risk are part of the fun!

EDIT (for clarification): Some prompts are related to a format type, such as 'writing format: outsider pov', 'art format: line art', or 'podfic format: atmospheric'. You get to pic what type of format prompts you'd like to include. Don't worry, if you choose not to include (for example) art format prompts, you can still draw stuff for fills - you just won't get those specific prompts on your card.





To receive your STONY bingo card, leave a comment with answers to the following:
Username?
Kink or no kink?
Fic, art, or podfic (select at least one)? (EDIT for clarification: This refers to 'format' prompts only. Regardless of what you choose, you can still use any of the three to fill prompts. Please see above for more detail.)


Your card will be posted to as a reply to your comment, so if you comment anon, be sure to check back. Due to time zones and stuff, it may take us a day or two to respond. You may request a second card once you have completed a line on your first card.

This round will end January 31st, 2016!

Weekly IRC Chat Time!

A lot has happened while I was gone. Rec week wrapped up, there have been three TRB (Classic, Disassemble, and the currently running Earth), and apparently Bendis is going to be doing a second Iron Man title.

So much to talk about. Come chat and socialize and fun. And, as always, lurkers are welcome.

Next chat is planned for Saturday, August 8th. Don't forget that you can log into the irc channel at any point during the week. Normally, there will be other people around.

As a reminder we have a channel #cap-im-spoilers for conversations about new tv episodes, comic book issues and other spoilers. If no one is currently in there, just stop by the regular channel and let people know you want to talk about spoilers. :) To get to this channel use the same method you would for #cap-im but type #cap-im-spoilers instead; alternatively, once you are connected to IRC, type '/join #cap-im-spoilers' in the command line.

The #cap-im and #cap-im-spoilers IRC channels are on DALnet. If you’re using a regular irc client the server is irc.dal.net and the channel is #cap-im and/or #cap-im-spoilers. There are three different options below of web clients. If one doesn't work try a different one.

Got to https://kiwiirc.com/client. Type in the nickname you wish to use. The channel name is #cap-im or #cap-im-spoilers. There will be a little blue link that opens up the server and network info. Click on that and enter irc.dal.net as the server and 6667 as the port. Here is an example of what it looked like when I filled it out.


Teyke found yet another web client option if the two above aren't working. Go to http://www.wsirc.com/ and fill out the box to the right like Teyke's example below.


The http://www.dal.net/ web client sometimes doesn't working, but people still have used it successfully to join the the chat. Under Chat Now fill in your nickname, and #cap-im or #cap-im-spoilers.
