Comm News:

Some pretty big changes are happening around the Community! Following the results of the user poll that we launched, we are officially moving our base of operations over to Dreamwidth. Our livejournal page will not be shutting down and will remain open for posting. This post here explains the details of the move, but as always if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us!

As we previously announced, with Imzy shutting down, the Bringing Food to the Lab Community has merged with Cap-IM on both dreamwidth and livejournal. We’re happy to say that they will be bringing daily discussions to Cap-IM starting June 19th. In conjunction with this merger, we’re excited to welcome Bringing Food to the Lab mod faite as one of our Community Mods.

We’d also like to remind everyone of the Friending Meme that we’re running over on Dreamwidth. It’s a great chance for members new and old to get to know one another, and to settle in over on Dreamwidth.

Cap-IM Reverse Big Bang has wrapped up, and it’s been a great event with so many amazing fics and art being posted. Check out the AO3 collection here, and the Master Post here.

Cap-IM Tiny Reverse Big Bang is open for art submissions! All the information for the event can be found here. We are accepting submissions until June 27th and the posting of art will begin July 1st. If you need a little last minute inspiration for your art, be sure to check out the Tiny Reverse Bang’s Tumblr for inspiration posts.

Cap-IM Big Bang has started the writing phase. We will be merging the weekly support and chatter posts with the Bringing Food to the Lab daily posts, so stay tuned for more information.

The Stony Trumps Hate auction was a huge success, raising a total of $11,600 USD! It’s incredible to see the impact that the fandom has and all the causes we were able to support. For more details, check out the Stony Trumps Hate Tumblr and be sure to keep an eye on the AO3 Collection.

Steve Tony Studios is currently working on a Super Husbands Aluminum Anthology in Celebration of 10 Years since The Confession. The anthology will be available September 4th as a free to download PDF. For more information about the project, check out the project page.

The Marvel Bang will be running all summer. Sign up for authors is closed, but they are accepting artist sign ups until the claim date in September. They are also allowing for the sign up of Solo Works all summer long, so there is still plenty of opportunity to participate. Be sure to check out all the information over at the Marvel Bang Livejournal.



Marvel News:

Spiderman Homecoming is coming out in just a few short weeks! We already know that there will be plenty of Tony, and from the looks of the teaser, maybe even a few hints of Steve. If you haven’t seen them already, the trailers can be viewed here, here, and here.


Secret Empire has given us no shortage of feelings and twists throughout it’s entire run, including the bombshell of a second Steve Rogers, and recently some major revelations regarding Steve Roger’s Hydra and the Underground Avengers. There’s no doubt that the upcoming conclusion is going to be dramatic. Issue 4 just came out, but you can see the preview here.

Marvel Solicitations have been Published for August including the conclusion to Secret Empire, Captain America #25, and the beginning of Zombies Assemble 2.

Avengers Assemble Season 4 has just started up again and we’re all looking forward to seeing what happens after last season’s dramatic conclusion which left Tony stranded.

Did everyone enjoy the Avengers Assemble season 4 premiere? No spoilers here, but we’re looking forward to all the feelings and potential fanworks this season can inspire!
