2017 Cap-Ironman Exchange Gifts unveiled on December 27th

It’s the second day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing the gifts created by participants of the 2017 Cap-Ironman Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts. Over the next days the creators’ identities will be hidden. On January 7th, we will reveal all of the creators who participated this year.

When your gift is revealed, please be sure to comment and thank your gifter!

If you’re the creator of a gift that’s been revealed, you can reply to anyone who comments on your work and it will show up as “Anonymous Author” until the creator reveals, so please feel free to comment as much as you like.

We’ll be announcing all the gifts for today on Dreamwidth, and you can share the tumblr post with everyone!

Finally, you may want to change the publication date of your work to today’s date, to help it show up in the AO3 listings for recent works. AO3’s guide is available here and there is a more detailed guide on how to do so here.

From early January we'll have remix chains of fic and art running, like a fun game of telephone. The deadline for Relay sign-ups, the 29th, is fast approaching! Artists, until Madness rolls around in late January, this is your chance to join in on the remixing fun.

Art Remixes?

Here are some art examples from previous Remixes to get your creative side inspired!

- 'Iron Man: The Watchers of the Moon'- the rehash [Iron Man: The Watchers of the Moon Remix] is a comic remix of Iron Man: The Watchers of the Moon that puts a new spin on the ending of the original!

- I'mma dig you out (the hole you dug yourself into Remix) is a comic remix of the hole you dug yourself into that moves us into Tony's POV and gives the reader some insight into why he jumps into the brawl.

- Up memory lane [Part of my Future Remix] is an image remix of Part of my Future (The Heart and Soul Remix) that shows the reader a missing scene.

Wondering what a story remix of art might look like?

- Only Works Backwards (The Poor Sort of Memory Remix) continues the remix chain from Up memory lane [Part of my Future Remix], and takes a different angle on Tony saving Steve, while playing on the homage of the picture.

- Step Parenting 101 is a text remix of [Fanart] Do you want coffee or smoothie?, where the reader gets to see Tony and Steve's take on DUM-E's barista attempts.
