A reminder that today, December 31st, is the last day of the Cap-IM 616 Bingo, so please post your final comments and get your prize claim post ready!

If you’re already finished a bingo, you can claim your prize now! Please do so before the end of December (and happy to New Year to all those celebrating!).

2019 Cap-Iron Man Exchange Gifts unveiled on January 1st

It’s the sixth day of reveals! Each day we will be revealing the gifts created by participants of the 2019 Cap-Iron Man Holiday Exchange and Community Gifts Event. Initially, creators’ identities will be hidden. From January 10th - January 13th, everyone will have the opportunity to guess the identities of creators, after which we will reveal all of the participants for the event. (Remember if you've created a work for the Holiday Exchange or Community Gifts, please remain anonymous until creator reveals are over!)

The 2020 Reverse Bang is here, which means that creators will be getting to work on their artworks!

This post is here for you to chat about your progress. How is it going? Are there any research topics that give you a headache? It there something you're pondering or stuck on? Is that nose just a bit out of whack? Already finished? Need cheering or help?

Later, writers will come into play! Date claims will come around, and maybe it'll be time to seek help polishing up your fic? You'd like to get someone's opinion on a sentence, or just want to show off your progress as the wordcount climbs closer to 5K?

Here's the place to direct all your questions (no judgement, no shame!), offer help, share some advice, cheer people on, or just chat about your current projects. Let everyone know what you're working on, and if your fellow fans and creators can be of any assistance!

2020 Cap-Iron Man Reverse Bang Announcement

Happy New Year, everyone!

It’s January 1st, which means that the 2020 Cap-IM Reverse Bang is now open for art submissions! Submissions will remain open until the end of February 12th.

The Cap-Iron Man Reverse Bang is a Steve/Tony fanwork fest where artists submit artwork and writers create a fic of 5K based on the art that they claim. It's the chance for artists to inspire stories with their art, and for writers to collaborate on a fic that has a visual prompt. This fest aims to encourage the creation of more wonderful fanworks for the Steve/Tony ship—but it's also a neat way to meet new people who share your passion for the ship in its various forms, and to have fun!

Whether you're a seasoned artist who has participated in the Cap-IM Reverse Bang in the past, or an inspired newcomer who has just the right idea in mind, we want to see your artistic depiction of Steve/Tony!

Ready to join? Send in your art entry by February 12th to participate in the Reverse Bang and have your artwork claimed!

Community Input Opportunity: Poll for Date Claims Format

For the two main Cap-Iron Man community collaborative events, the Big Bang and the Reverse Bang, teams claim a posting date for their work to be posted.

The mods would like to run posting date-claims in a way that maintains transparency but moves away from "one date or nothing" model, as we feel that this puts undue stress on participants.

We are putting it up to the community to decide!

Please tell us which is your preferred method for claiming a posting date for our Reverse Bang and Big Bang events - don't be shy. This survey is anonymous, and we welcome your feedback, since it's you, our cap-ironman community, who takes part in our events.

There is a choice of 4 options, as well as an opportunity to elaborate if your preferred method isn't there.

The survey will close on January 14, and is open to ALL cap-ironman community members and followers, even if you have not yet participated in a cap-ironman Reverse Bang or Big Bang challenge. You do not need to be part of the cap_ironman community in order to take part.
