Like, Hank is madcap. I think I'm unclear re: Hank in Ult verse. He's supposed to be ex black ops? Whatever, his cynicism is pitch perfect, and he does try to steer Cap when Cap needs it.

But Cap can be self righteous, terribly so.

Jan is ... well. I have my thoughts on jan. Yay, now that I have people on twitter, I can get my fandom snark on.

Hank is just mad. Scientist. But at least this writer seems to be sympathetic towards Hank's manic swings. Like, he's trying to make Hank be more than the man who beat up his wife. Oy. Oy again.

I hear you about fandom. I am the only comic geek I know - my comic book store sellers don't count.

Ooooh, Boston is only good in Feb for Scifi/Fantasy (Boskone) and then in Spring (Anime Boston). Other than that, yeah, no fandom goodness. We're trrrrrrrrrrrying tho.
