I also saw the first episode of this on the Iron Man dvd. This looks like a cold POS.
Kid!Tony just doesn't work for me... he doesn't have enough life experience to make the Iron Man gesture believable if he's just some kid with some toys.
Marvel. X-Men Evolution was horrible. This is also going to be horrible. Stop it!
Stop it! as long as they´re getting money from innocent kids who don´t know any better?never!
Just try to think of a future when in ten years Bruce Wayne´s parents will be shot after watching the Pokemon movie with him (yes, I stole that from a webcomic...which was awesome), the whole Marvelverse will consist of Wolverine, Spiderman and a couple of unimportant extras and when someone mentions Captain America they will think of James Barnes with a machine gun (no offense against James...I´m just a Steve fan)
he doesn't have enough life experience to make the Iron Man gesture believable like being a weaponsmanufacturer, traveling to a war location, nearly dieing by a shrapnel in his heart, company stress, drinking...
I just realized that he´s basically an anime magical girl who balances her new superheroic life with new powers and a flashy transformation sequence with her school life, good grades...and her love life. Tony Stark is Sailor Moon/Wedding Pech/DoReMi/Pretty Cure/....
GHaHAHAHA! No apologies necessary. This made my night. Oh the horrible things that people do for children.
I, for one, will be teaching my (god forbid!) children, nieces and nephews, grandchildren... that Captain America is in fact, Steve Rogers.
That was exactly my point. I like my Stark carrying lots of baggage. He's interesting because of all the stuff he juggles at once. The fact that, as RDJ said, he's just as likely to kill himself as he is to do the right thing. The fact that in most cases, he's his own worst enemy (overstressing himself, drinking, general being pummeledness).
If Marvel wants their Mangirl superhero they should stick to Spider-Man....
...Peter Parker could die and I could never care...
...Peter Parker could die and I could never care...
I like Peter and think that he´s suffering from bad writing, but I agree with everything else you said.
The vulnerability of the "invincible" ironman is what makes him interesting, and they´re going to ignore that in order to prey on little children who will actually believe them

...maybe I just spend too much time roleplaying Tony...
All these "cartoons for the kids" just fuel my dislike for children.
This.
