::raises hand:: Question for y'all, concerning the series of shortfics I've been working on.

I can't make polls, so tallying comments will have to do. Based on post-SI, who do you

A) think is most likely

or

B) prefer

to be the one to help Steve tackle the problem of trying to revive Tony's mind from the Extremis?

ETA: Thanks, guys! It looks like the current frontrunners are Pepper and Peter, and I may try to work others in, depending on how the next couple of chapters go.

Normally, I would say Maya but... wasn't she dealing with the Mandarin? No. Just no.

Reed is a very good option and quite possibly still someone Tony trusts. I'd offer Hank Pym but yeah... Let's not go there. Maria and Pepper would be completely on Steve's side due to IM8 and Peter, oh god, Peter, I think maybe he could be of some help if he "wanted" to and if he was, it would be a big help for Steve.

Depending on what you think of Carol, considering I don't think she and Tony interacted at all post-SI, yet... she might be of some service.

Yeah, Maya is more amoral than anything

She'd be good for tension and a plot point, if you wanted to go that way. Peter is good in that he did see Tony as an authority figure before everything went tits up.

Reed would be good, in the sense that yeah he knows Tony, and despite him being literally a handmaiden to the whole Civil War thing, he's fared pretty well post CW.

Re: Carol, bwoy, she has a lot going on in her own title right now. I know that she and Tony get on, but Carol is more of a soldier/ops specialist rather than a programmer.

What about Echo? Since she's able to literally get stuff done by just mimicking people. She was able to fly the Quinjet by just watching Tony doing it.

This is an interesting question, because all the brilliant men in Marvel aren't really brilliant in terms of computers as a speciality no? I dunno.
