Cap Might Not Lead The Avengers!

My friend just sent me this clip of Chris Evans discussing Captain America and The Avengers.

"I don't know if they're going to make him the boss," Evans said of Cap's role in "The Avengers." He added, "His character... He's a good guy."

"Does he [run the show]?" asked Evans. "I don't think anybody tells Downey what to do, and that's what makes [him] Downey."

Can. Stop. Laughing. I don't know if I'm laughing because Evans' comments are comforting (a.k.a. the fact that Robert and Tony are In Charge of the Avengers and the movies' fate) or so so so sad (a.k.a. DUDE, HE'S CAP, OF COURSE HE'S IN CHARGE, EVEN IF YOU'RE BOSSING AROUND ROBBERT!TONY).

Either way: Hilarious.

I watched this earlier. Poor guy.

I'm all for him now after watching Sunshine.

I think he either wasn't really allowed to talk about the scripts or he really doesn't know alll that much about the Avengers. Which is fine. My first reaction was, "WTF how could you not know?" and then I realized not everyone is quite as geeky as myself. Heh.

And lets face it, Tony and Steve are the "Mom and Dad" of the Avengers. They share responsibility!

I did like the comments about Robert though! So cute!

Yeah, I think he's being coy. And I said to sunshineclouds he did give a straight answer:

Interview: "Are you going to boss around Downey on set?"
Evans: "Uh... NO."
