A while back, a member of the comm asked if there was a version of the Slashy Moments List that was in chronological order. I said that there wasn't, and that there wasn't likely to be one, because it would be a lot of work to figure out what order things actually happened in, comic book timelines being what they are.

Well, muccamukk deserves a serious round of applause, because she took it upon herself to put that work in. And once she'd gotten them in order, it seemed a shame not to maintain the list that way in the future. So the Slashy Moments List is undergoing a couple of changes!

1. From this point forward, this post is the post that I will update with new moment. The previous master post will no longer be updated. [I will edit it to say this and to link to this post, though.]

2. I'm not always going to know where a moment goes, chronologically, just from the scans. I know myself well enough to know that if I try to figure this out for every new moment, updates will be slow in being made. So instead, if I can't tell right away, I will place the moment in an "Unknown" section at the bottom. I will rely on fellow fans to figure out where it goes and comment to inform me.

3. Putting the list in chronological order within the universes means that new moments won't always be conveniently at the bottom of their section. Therefore, new moments will be marked with a star (). The star will stick around for two updates (the update in which the moment first appears, and the one after that) before being removed.

4. As before, I encourage everyone to comment with new moments, corrections to wrong issues/identities of characters/etc., missing information, and so on.

Some of them don't have images--if no one on the comm was able to track down a scan, we don't have one--but #44 should definitely have had one! Fortunately, I was able to retrieve a copy from the previous list. Thanks for pointing it out!

I am totally impressed with muccamukk for figuring out the chronological order, myself! Marvel is nit exactly straightforward that way.
