I'm already starting to run through scenarios why they're snarking. Maybe Steve things Tony is a future soldier and a little snotty upstart (well snotty isn't that far away) who doesn't know a thing about war and Tony is trying to curb his fangasm and they snark at each other to Thor's great satisfaction and later STeve is like wait wat you're Howard's son?!
Anyway, it's just too much. Clint and Natasha action, Tony bonding with scientists (fanon ascends to canon here), a Quinjet and Nick motherf**king Fury with a bazooka. My life is complete.

Okay, less feelings more typing. I like how the line at the start is Loki saying "In the end, it'll be every man for himself." Then they get the team together. SUCK ON THAT, LOKI!

OMG! Nick, how are you that awesome? You've got like half a line and I'm all OMG! Nick, ILU! Oh, no he gets more lines. He's even more awesome.

Not sure that's the shot they should be going with on Natasha. ILU anyway, Natasha! Are they implying Natasha Loki/Natasha? DNW! Or is that just happing to tie in with "They could fight the battles that we never could?"

Tony's looking good. Like the Black Sabbath shirt (though I remember my friend who I dragged to IM2 with me grumbling that a lot of the metal bands Tony liked stood for the exact opposite of everything Tony did. She thought AC/DC was an okay choice though).

Nick is trying to stare down Thor. Thor is used to being stared down by scary dudes with one eye. Since it seems to have made roughly zero impression on him growing up, I'm not sure how that will work here. Nice try though Nick. Actually, double dog daring Thor might be an effective way to get him to do things.

Tony still has the triangular arc reactor. I like it glowing through the shirt. Oh Steve, you are so unimpressed. I'm not sure if I should tell you that he gets better when you know him or not. "Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist" Meaning the first three, and Pepper reminds him he has to to the philanthropist thing. Someone needs to make an icon of that, stat!

Thor has such a nice laugh!

NICK WITH A ROCKET LAUNCHER! There we go, THAT'S the picture of Natasha we should be going with. Also, I just love watching Iron Man flying about to rock and roll, appropriate or not.

Are Steve and Thor fighting? I can't tell. Not sure how I feel about Steve machine gunning things. I guess he's more Ults Steve? I'm pretty okay with that, when I think about it.

Loki throws Tony through a window, and it's Steve that hits the car. Interesting editing.

LOVE the purple shirt, Bruce! And Coulson standing in the background looking unhappy with everything.

RDJ, for someone who insisted that Iron Man driving a team film wasn't going to work, you sure do get all the lines. I assume that's just advertising though, as people like Iron Man best. Meanwhile, Clint, Natasha and Thor get nothing, and we don't even see Maria.

I think we saw like...twice as much Thor as we did Natasha or Clint, and by twice as much I mean he got like ONE more second of airtime, lol. I wonder if the second trailer is gonna be the same as this one or if they'll use that one to show off the other characters. I would have thought that they'd at least put more Thor in, considering he JUST had a movie, too. Not surprised at no Maria at all though, I bet loads of people don't even realize she's in it at all since hardly anything ever mentions her :/

I feel like Tony's going to go through the ENTIRE MOVIE being snarky and making everyone kind of dislike him but by the end they'll be at the "god he's kind of an ass but I love him" stage. That scene with Steve was basically everything I had hoped it would be, if they're going to for that kind of borderline hostile relationship to start with. ♥

Also, I enjoyed all the shots of Iron Man in the air - I've always had a fondness for seeing that shiny red suit in the air, it's just...ahem. I have many feelings about Tony's suit. I also loved Steve walking into that room where his new uniform is. (Also, I've known forever that Evans is taller than RDJ but actually SEEING it on the screen and not in a picture made me very happy. My size-difference kink is going to be hit on so many levels with this. I'm gonna stop before I embarrass myself any more).

Ah what can I say that hasn't be squeed about already?
Well, for one thing, I am happy/mixed feelings they didn't recycle the D23 sneakpeak that we heard about. Maybe it'll be bonus material on the Captain America Blue-ray [nod nod]. Still, I'm pretty sure I broke the replay button - vainly hoping in I click enough there will be a bug in the system that will somehow magically stream the completed movie to me XD But alas...

And yeah, RDJ does get a lot of good lines in this trailer and in the last sneak peak. Hopefully the others will get some witty one-liners as well. Glad to see what the hulk looks like <3 Banner amuses me somehow...I like him. I want more Natasha and Clint though. Come on, they don't have thier own movies...give us something more? If they are anything like their EMHs counterparts I KNOW I'll be in love.

Waaah is it still odd for me to miss Hank and Jan? It still feels like the Avengers are missing people. And I also can't wait to see Maria Hill - lol...aaah...okay enough rambling from me <3 Much Avengers love <3

I love how Steve is so angry, and at the same time totally undressing Tony with his eyes. So much UST, I can't stand it.

Love Tony winding up Bruce too. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if Bruce kinda enjoyed it. It must be a nice change from everyone walking on eggshells around him all the time.

I, too, wanted more Cling and Natasha and possibly a glimpse of Maria. I guess we'll have to wait for the actual movie to get that.

I think everyone will be safe except possibly Maria Hill, as they all have multiple film contracts. I don't know how many Smulders signed on for. I'm sad about no Maria in the trailer too.
