AMC Theatres Presents The Ultimate Marvel Marathon

For those of you in select cities in the US, AMC Theatres will be hosting a movie marathon beginning at 11:30am on May 3, showing Iron Man, Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor, Captain America and finally culminating with the midnight release of the Avengers on May 4. In case that wasn't enough, you also get a free pair of character 3d glasses!

I already bought my tickets!

I might actually go blind if I watched that many movies in a row, plus 3D is really bad for my eyes/headache, but man, that would be cool!

I'm in Australia so can't take advantage of this awesome marathon offer however have already bought my tickets for the 25th April opening of the Avengers. When it came to picking which seat number and row I wanted I picked M17 hehe.

I was tempted when I first heard the news, but I've already asked off work for that Friday since I'm definitely going to a midnight showing. I really can't justify asking off for two days, not even for The Avengers.

(Also, bah, why are all three of the D.C. marathons over on the Virginia side of the metro area? Couldn't they have at least one on the Maryland side? MoCo has just as many AMC theaters as NoVA.)

I'm going to the AMC in Garden State Plaza, New Jersey! Got my sister and two friends. If anybody else is doing the marathon at GSP, let me know. We can fangirl together LOL.
