I read about the post-credits scene...


... on Ironfries tumblr. It seems they decided to add a post-credit scene with all the Avengers at dinner. It will be only in US (post May 4th) cinema!

but cool that someone noticed that those guys def needed some silly off-duty team time to ~connect. it really was missed imo!

LOL, also I just noticed the "A" sign in the upper left hand corner of that screen cap she posted. It's a health inspector grade sign, but I can't help thinking it's especially appropriate for this team ;)

This picture needs fic... as in how did they end up at this restaurant/cafe/whatever? Did the owner offer to let them eat free or a reduced price? (Like some places in the US, cops usually get a discount on their meal.) And how much trouble is it to clean up after the Avengers eat?

Clint and Natasha trade raised eyebrows. Thor and Steve look blankly confused. The Hulk frowns slightly in contemplation and then shrugs.

"Hulk Hungry."

"Yeah." "Sure, why not?" "Um, what is Shawarma?" "What sort of Midgarian fare is this shawarma?"

"Alright! It's right on the corner of 5th and Main. Car's downstairs. Hulk, you're going need to shrink down to Banner again. Shawarmas here we come!"

Man, it's unfair they get that additional scene (plus the new Batman trailer) and we didn't. Oh, well. I'm sure we'll see the scene on youtube soon enough.

This is the first time posting. But I feel very cheated. I took my son 11 year old son and the his pack of friends to see the movie 26 April in UK and now I hear there additon stuff we did not see due the fact we live in UK and the USA will be see it. This is not fair. Not at all. I am so crying now. I must go see it again. Because it was Soo Good. Even if stuff was missing.

Just got back from U.S. midnight premiere. We had to wait an extra two weeks but we got an extra scene so yay! Bonus scene was pretty lol ;P

That seems to be the general consensus. And would also explain why Cap has his head turned and a hand covering most of his face the entire time. (Evans either shaved the beard he's been going, which seems sort of unlikely, or they CGIed that sucker away.)

It was shown in Canada as well, AFAIK. Maybe they'll have it, along with all those cut scenes (SOOOOO MANY CUT SCENES), on the DVD?
