Our main Reverse Bang has successfully wrapped up. Take a look at all the awesome works that were created in our RBB event masterlist!

This is also the best time to remind all creators that this summer our Captain America/Iron Man Tiny Reverse Bang returns and in just one week we'll start accepting submissions!

Artists can then send in traditional art, digital art, photographed craft work, moodboards, manips and fanvids based on one of our three themes (Space, Beginnings/Endings, Domesticity) that will inspire creators during the writing phase. This year we will also invite podficcers and fanvidders to let themselves be inspired!

2020 Schedule Reminder:

Friday June 19th - Friday, July 10th: Work submission period. All submissions are due before the end of July 10th in the last time zone, and must be submitted to cap.im.events@gmail.com.

Your 2020 TRB Mods

The 2020 Steve/Tony Tiny Reverse Bang is here!

TRB is a low commitment, midyear flashworks challenge organized by

cap_ironman. It runs like a quick version of our Reverse Bang, where artists create artwork and writers create fills inspired by the artworks.

This year's TRB themes are:

Space

Beginnings/Endings

Domesticity

How does it work?

Creators make a work inspired by one of the themes above and send them in. For the TRB, works can be traditional art, digital art, photographed craft work, moodboards, manips and fanvids.

Works are scheduled to post weekly and fanworkers are invited to create drabbles, ficlets, fic, podfic and fanvids based on the week's work(s).

After each week, all the fills created will be rounded up before the next week begins.

At the end of the challenge, all the works created will be rounded up and shared with the community!

2020 Schedule:

Your 2020 TRB Mods

The Cap-IM Big Bang is one of cap-ironman's oldest challenges. Writers in the fandom work on their longfics until draft submissions in September, after which artists will claim fics to begin the collaborative stage of the challenge. Mod activity begins in April/May and extends into the first week or so of December.

The Tiny Reverse Bang is a mid-year challenge, run as a flashworks, low-commitment version of RBB. Artists submit artworks which are then revealed weekly. Creators are invited to create fills for as many as or as few works as they’d like, and at the end of each week there is a round-up of works created. This year's TRB modding will take place May - September.

If you are over 18 and would be interested in teaming up with the comm mods to help mod this year’s Big Bang or Tiny Reverse Bang, please send us an email at cap.im.mod@gmail.com expressing your interest and any experience you might have.

Whether you have previous experience with taking part in or modding a fandom challenge or community, or are just looking to get more involved with the Cap-IM comm, we’re happy to hear from you!

Potential responsibilities:

Answering emails and other questions/comments about the event via Tumblr etc.

Advertising for the event, including posting on LJ, DW, Pillowfort, Tumblr, Discord and Twitter (note that we have mod accounts so you don’t need to personally be on the platform).

Co-ordinating sign-ups, summary and date claims, and participant posting

Encouraging participants in their work, including creating inspiration posts

Managing the event’s AO3 Collection

Posting round-ups of submitted fanworks

And with that we announce the 2018 Tiny Reverse Bang Amnesty Weeks. From now until September 14 to write ficlets or fics for any of the art prompts that were revealed in the all rounds of the 2018 Tiny Reverse Bang and that you may have missed out on or may not have had enough time to finish for! Finish now! Challenge yourself to some last minute drabbles and earn your badges!

All fics will be added to the final round up that will be published on September 15.
