Summary: Steve's been slowly picking at the layers of the past since he’s woken up, peeling them back and tearing them apart until he can clearly see what he’s left with and what has strode into his life brand new. He’s still trying to find the little gives in the paper where he can pull back the layers to reveal Tony Stark, but he’s getting there.
Warnings: Minor spoilers from the new trailer and allusions to Civil War.
“Tony Stark,” Tony says and holds out a hand because holy shit he’s standing in front of Captain America.
