No, wait, that wasn't it.

ACTUAL point of the post: If anyone on the comm is going to SakuraCon this year - come and visit me! I live in the Programming Office, room 201 :) Srsly.

It's time to vote!

Behind the cut is the poll with which we will hopefully pick the 5 slashiest moments of all. Because LJ poll questions actually do have a size limit, links to the scans are not included. To review the scans again, go back to the list we compiled. It has been updated and contains all 54 moments nominated with their references and scans. (We're missing two scans, though. I even went to [livejournal.com profile] scans_daily looking for them, but after going through 60 Iron Man posts I was in too much pain and had to stop. That comm can be nasty.)

A bit of "How To" for the poll:

1. There's a maximum of 15 possible answers for a question in LJ polls, so the 54 moments have been split into four sections. You don't have to vote in each section. If you don't want to vote for any of the moments in a given section, just leave it blank.
2. We're aiming to determine the top 5 slashiest moments, but you are more than welcome to vote for more than 5 moments. Just keep in mind that if everyone votes for all 54, we'll just have a 54-way tie. *g* Try to pare your choices of "slashiest moments" down as much as you can bear to.
3. If you change your mind after you vote, it is possible to change your vote in the poll. To do so, click on the poll number, then click on "Fill out poll", then change your answers as desired and resubmit the poll.
4. If you have any questions, comment!

And now...

Having tallied the results of the poll, people seem to lean towards having at least a semi-automated archive. Therefore, Talesofsuspense.net is back up, running on eFiction, and ready for people to register.

However, for the people who'd rather continue having their works archived, if you give me a heads up here, I can set up administrator-run accounts, and continue archiving your works just like always.

Also, if anyone else would like me to upload any of their works that were previously archived, just let me know; I've still got everything filed away, and I can do it easily, even if you intend to upload your own things in the future.

The gallery is temporarily still down while I finish setting up the software that will allow people to upload pictures, icons, ect. to the site as well, but I was wondering if people would like to have a scans gallery, to host things like the results of the recent slashiest moments poll?

And since I know [livejournal.com profile] crimsonquills offered, if anyone would like to serve as a site moderator, and help out with things like archiving, let me know.

Now that I've rambled on, and since I feel bad about how long the site was down; if anyone wants to claim drabble prompts, I'd be happy to try and answer them.

ETA: I'm an idiot. The webserver is still in the process of upgrading and moving, so chances are that the site will be down for the next few hours.

ETA: Site's back up. Sorry about that.
