As this is official 'Screw You Marvel' week as decreed by notquitethegood (which I completely, wholeheartedly agree with), I felt I had to offer a contribution of my own. Of course, that means I've had to forgo sleep in order to write it, but some things are worth the sacrifice.

Lil' canon question - for fic

Hey, I just finally got to actually read Civil War as opposed to little bits of it, and I want to write a fic, but I had a canon question...

Did Extremis actually fix Tony's heart once and for all, and did he have that at the time of Civil War? Otherwise, surely Cap disabling his armour with electric-type pulse things (twice) could *very* easily have killed him?

As I've gotten further into Marvel, and thus farther into Steve/Tony, I've come across several songs that really struck me as Steve/Tony.  Seeing as how none of them really fit together, a fanmix would be kind of strange, so I will be doing a little series of songposts (and if this is against the rules, mods, throw something at me or something) to share with these songs with you.  Since I have a habit of writing little essays in connection to the songs to explain the similarities, you may be able to understand my reasoning behind them.

Question and a Ficlet

I'm starting work on a fic that will bring Cap back, and have a few questions about magic in the Marvel universe. I know a bit about the Scarlet Witch and her magic, very little else. Who are the key magic users, and are there any set 'rules' about magic use in the MU? Like, can people learn magic, or do you have to be born with the ability?

Also, there's a tiny ficlet under the cut, in which Thor visits Cap's ghost again after the end of Secret Invasion. So, um, spoilers.
