My first post on this comm, although I've lurked here a long time. I simply had to write this after seeing the movie twice, for my own peace of mind.

the longer he stood there, the harder it was going to get to say the words

Beta: [livejournal.com profile] usagiko <3
A/N: It's been a very, very long time since I've written anything, particularly anything like this. I'm still getting used to the characters. I'd love any concrit y'all have to offer me, particularly in terms of characters and the like.

'Sit down,' he said, 'you're making the place look untidy.'

Title: Gag Order
Author: [livejournal.com profile] mistresscurvy
Pairings/Characters: Tony/Steve
Universe: Movie
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 1,500
Warnings: Contains bondage and gags.
Summary: Steve loves Tony's voice, but sometimes he wants him to just stop talking.
A/N: Okay, so you know all of the fabulous complex longfics the internet is working on that are going to take place post-movie and really explore how Tony and Steve come together, with feelings and humor and tension and issues and all that? THIS IS NOT THAT FIC. This fic happens AFTER a fic like that has done all the heavy lifting. This is just what happens LATER.

Thank you so much to [livejournal.com profile] no_detective and [livejournal.com profile] littlemousling for looking this over and making it better. ♥

Title: Sex, Lies and Newsprint: A Year of Cap/Tony Romance as Told By the Tabloids
Universe: Marvel Adventures
Pairing: Steve/Tony
Warnings: None
Beta: [livejournal.com profile] kahn did a quick and dirty beta read for me. Any remaining mistakes are entirely my own.
Summary: Captain America is riding motorcycles, wearing leather and punching people. Obviously he's under the bad influence of Tony Stark because we all know Captain America would never have done any of those things on his own! Wait, what?

Previous chapters can be found here: Sex Lies and Newsprint

Or go directly to the new chapter on AO3, Sex, Lies and Newsprint Chapter Four or at my Livejournal.

Hello and welcome to the weekly [livejournal.com profile] cap_ironman/[community profile] cap_ironman newsletter.

The film is out in many countries now (I've seen it twice!), but still not world wide, so we will be continuing our policy of nuking uncut spoilers. Thank you all for being so good about that so far. This comm is a dream to mod when everyone's so well behaved, and we appreciate it.

If anyone has comments or feedback about how we could make the comm a more welcoming and easier to use place, we'd be glad to hear about it. We don't know there's a problem unless someone lets us know. Please just drop the mod team a PM, or leave a comment here or on the rules post.

Unsurprisingly, The Avengers is doing well. Marvel.com says it's made over 600 million dollar so far, and has broken domestic box office records in the US. Go Avengers! Now that that's out, we're looking at going back to solo movies for a bit, and Comicbook Movies has speculation and cast comments on how that will work given there's now a team. No spoilers.

Newsarama has a nicely detailed history of Cap's costume, and if you scroll do the bottom, you can find links to the same for Iron Man, and a bunch of movie resources showing the links between the film franchise and comics, including more than a few little details that I didn't pick up on.

Comics Should Be Good has a special edition of Comic Book Legends Revealed about the Avengers, which includes weird Scarlet Witch plots from the '80s, hilarous animated Avengers theme tunes, and how the comicbook code changed Steve's origin story.

And it's looking like a good week for our boys in comics. Coming Wednesday is Avengers Assemble #3, Captain America #10, Captain America and...Hawkeye #630, and Hulk Smash Avengers #2.

A Million Links! )

Finally, if you're a new or recent member, hello and welcome! Our rules are here, and in the profile; this includes our warnings policy, so please read. If you're interested in the ship, you may want to read the Ship Manifesto, and consult the list of Slashy Moments (Now at one hundred and eighty moments). If you're planning to write for the comm, there are some tips on writing the pairing here, and the Avengers in general here; if you're having trouble finding a beta, or would like to offer your services as a beta, our beta list is here. If you're looking for the comm archive, it's Tales of Suspense, and it's automated - you can create an account and upload your fic. If you're looking for a particular story, why not try [livejournal.com profile] cap_im_finders? If you have any questions, you can comment here or PM a mod, that's me, [livejournal.com profile] garrideb and [livejournal.com profile] valtyr.

And feel free to post on-topic or off-topic stuff in the comments to this post! Just keep it reasonably safe for work, please.

Title: You’re Never too Old to Become Younger 2
Author: [livejournal.com profile] kaitlia777
Author's e-mail/website: kaitlia777@yahoo.com
Fandom: The Avengers/Glee
Summary: Damn super villains and their crazy, non-sensical attacks…..
Type / Pairings: Crack, De-Aging, Thor/Jane, eventual Steve/Tony, eventual Puck/Rachel, Santana/Brittany, Mike/Tina
Main characters: Ensemble
Rating: R for language
Spoilers: If it’s aired in the US, then it’s fair game!
Beta: N/A
Disclaimer: Don’t own any of the recognizable character, just taking them out to play!
Author's Notes: Set in the Marvel Movieverse and the current season of Glee, but in this ‘verse, Finn and Rachel broke up again before the school year started. I just can’t write Finchel.

Part 1

Despite the spectacular failure of her attempted reconciliation with Finn over the summer, Rachel Berry thought her senior year was off to a pretty good start.
