Steve is found and revived much sooner than MCU canon, and the team works together for a considerable time before the Chitauri invasion, during which time Steve and Iron Man become good friends. Neither of them think much of Tony Stark.

Once again it's been a busy month here at cap_ironman! We have a final round-up of works done for the Cap/Iron Man Reverse Band 2015.

The Tiny Reverse Bang is now in full swing. The first rounds have come and gone (fic round-ups for ASSEMBLE and BREAKOUT) and the current round CLASSIC is still open for the next few days. That's not the end of the event which is run via the event tumblr. All posts and information about the event on the comm can be accessed via our Tiny Reverse Bang tag or at the tumblr.

Also we're right in the middle of Rec Week 2015! So far the rec posts for our Smutty Sunday, Brand-New Monday, (Not So) Terrible Tuesday and Wiley Wednesday have gone up and seen the Steve/Tony recs coming in. Rec Week will continue until Saturday and we'll wrap it up with a masterlist of all the fanwork recs sometime next week. Until then you have time to post your recs in the comments.

Also the Cap/Iron Man Big Bang 2015 is in its full out writing phase! Over at our event community c_im_bigbang weekly "Support and Chatter" posts continue to go up to give everyone a space to bond and fight the evil writer's block. Writers who participate, potential readers who are just excited and want to cheer them on and artists who are waiting their turn are all welcome to join the discussions. (The most recent post is here.) Writers, remember you have time until Sept 23rd to get in a draft and participate in the event.

We announced the closing of the current Bingo round for the end of this month, so you still have a few days to fill your outstanding Bingo prompts. A new round will start in August. More information on that will follow soon. Keep an eye out.

Marvel news:

The last month saw the release of the first issues of Secret Wars tie-ins Civil War and 1872 - long awaited by Steve/Tony fans. A discussion post here.

Announcements for what will happen after the Secret Wars event are also coming out: Marvel's Complete October 2015 Solicitations tell more about what to expect from Invincible Iron Man #1 & 2, also All-new, All-different Avengers, Squadron Supreme, A-Force, New Avengers, Ultimates and Uncanny Avengers will all spin out of the same starting issue - Avengers #0. Also Tony just teamed-up with a DJI Phantom quadcopter drone.

Avengers Assemble continues with ridiculous cute instances of Steve/Tony goodness. The final episodes Midgard Crisis and Avengers' Second to Last Stand will conclude the season this month. But it is slated to return in October with a 3rd season as Marvel's Avengers: Ultron Revolution.

As speculation about Captain America: Civil War and the conflict between Steve and Tony therein continues there also has been an announcement that Ant-Man will have related cameos and an after credit scene.
