It's August in Tokyo, so BINGO 2016 ROUND 2 is officially open! We have over 140 brand-new prompts so I am super excited to get to hand out these new cards :D
If you have fills you'd like to claim for the previous round, please check out
the prize claim post (and don't worry; you still have until it is no longer July anywhere in the world to be able to post your fills, and then another week or so to claim prizes). If you're interested in getting a new bingo card, this post is the place to be! You don't need to have completed your card from the last round: with the new round, anyone can get a new card.
Rules update from last round: Fic/art/podfic format-style prompts are now entirely optional; you can include 'none or more' instead of 'one or more'.
The goal: Fill prompts to complete a line (row, column, or diagonal). Feeling adventurous? Try for a blackout (fill every prompt on your card).
- Fills must be original and created specifically for your bingo card. They must not have been submitted for any other organized fandom challenge (such as bangs, exchanges, etc) with the exception of the Cap-Ironman Tiny Reverse Bang. You are welcome to use supplementary prompts from any source (including 890fifth, avengerskink, etc).
- Fills can be either fic (500+ words), art (no manips), or podfic (500+ words)
- A fill may only count toward ONE space/prompt. This includes multi-chaptered fills.
Posting fills: Fills can be posted wherever you like, but must be tagged with something like 'bingo', 'cap-ironman bingo fill', etc. We encourage (but do not require) you to post your fics to the comm with the 'bingo!' tag, use the #stonybingo tag on tumblr, or add your fic to the
AO3 collection.
Cards and prompts: Prompts are pretty open to interpretation. Let us know if you would like clarification on one of your prompts. For image prompts, you are not required to stick to the same format or universe, though you may choose to do so. (For example, if your visual prompt is a 616 panel, you don't have to do a 616 fill.)
We have four optional prompt pools that you can opt to include: Kink (ex: 'kink: healing cock'), writing format (ex: 'writing format: outsider pov'), art format (ex: 'art format: line art'), and podfic format (ex: 'podfic format: atmospheric'). You
can still create kinky works or fic or art or podfic if you don't include one or more of these pools; it just means your card won't contain those specific prompts.
We do not allow specific omissions. If you receive a prompt on your card that you don't know or dislike, just work around it. Randomness and risk are part of the fun!
To receive your STONY bingo card, leave a comment with answers to the following:
Username?
Kink or no kink?
Fic, art, or podfic prompts? (This refers to the inclusion of format-specific prompts only. If you choose not to include one or more of these prompt pools, then you won't receive prompts requiring that specific format. General prompts and kink prompts can still be filled in any format you want.)
Edit: Rules clarification: The 'Free' space is given to you; it automatically counts as a fill. This means that if you have a column/diagonal/row that intersects it, you only need to create four fills in order to get a bingo.
Your card will be posted to as a reply to your comment, so if you comment anon, be sure to check back. Due to time zones and stuff, it may take us a day or two to respond. You may request a second card once you have completed a line on your first card.
