I'm in my early twenties for now, and I prefer the original Star Trek over all spin-offs, I adore Bob Dylan, and if I have godchildren or some such I will totally send them stuff like Marvel Adventures for Christmas.
As long as stuff are still being re-run, they won't die, and then there is the fact that geek is a subculture now, there are subcultures, there are geek parents who are friends who watches sci-fi with their children instead of (or in addition to) football. Did American Football die out when the first fans did, even though it's a supposed manly sport with more chest padding than a junior high prom?
