The New Captain America/Iron Man Slashy Moments List

In for the last two years, this list has been maintained by the totally awesome [livejournal.com profile] crimsonquills (original here, with reposts here and here). Ze has, however, migrated to another fandom, leaving the comm. I have volunteered to maintain it from here on in.

ETA: The list has been moved. See the sidebar of the comm for details as to where. All scans hosted by me are taken down. A big thanks to everyone who helped me put together and maintain the list over the years.

Probably not for this list, but I had to share these due to the cuteness anyway.
The Super Hero Squad Show, episode 16: Tales of Suspense: When Iron Man is framed, Cap asks him to step down from the team (with lots of touching and Meaningful Looks). One Two Three Four

And back to our regularly-scheduled comics:
Avengers Annual v.1 #6 (immediately following Avengers v.1 #153): The Avengers and all of L.A. could be blown to bits, but Iron Man only worries about Cap.
Avengers v.1 #157 (cover): Even when defeated, Cap and Iron Man cuddle are side-by-side.

A correction: Moment #66 - the first scan is from Ultimatum #1, but the other three are from #2.
Ultimatum #3: When Cap's in the hospital, Tony stays with him the entire time.

Both of these are pre-"Demon in a Bottle":
Captain America v.1 #218: Iron Man's not a therapist, but he's always willing to listen when Cap needs him.
Captain America v.1 #224: Iron Man knows Steve's face better than Steve does.
Also - according to published dates, Cap #238 was the last one published before "DiaB" (#239 was the same month), so does moment #6 need to be moved slightly? O.o
Avengers v.1 #171: What personal space? (Even Wanda and Vizh aren't standing that close together.)
Avengers v.1 #171: Cap reassures Iron Man about his judgment (even though he just questioned it on the previous page).
Avengers v.1 #181 (cover): Cap holds Iron Man back from Gyrich... by hugging him. (Worthy of note: The only other people touching on this cover are the two married couples.)
Avengers v.1 #182: Cap can do anything. Just ask Iron Man.
Iron Man v.1 #125: Tony understands when Cap takes over leading the Avengers.
Iron Man v.1 #125: Tony turns to Steve for self-defense lessons. Cap believes him when he says that he plays a lot of tennis. Really.

Post-"Demon in a Bottle":
Avengers v.1 #193: Any excuse to hold hands. (No matter how painful that must be...)

A Civil War moment (I'm guessing it goes after moment #55 but before Casualties of War):
Black Panther #18 (cover): It's T'Challa and Storm's wedding, but all eyes are on Iron Man and Captain America.
Black Panther #18: An unexpected meeting brings debate and long, meaningful Looks. One Two

Avengers & Power Pack Assemble #1: Steve's always willing to help a close friend, even if he's across the country. One Two
(I guess the 616 area? It was published in 2006.)

Wow, I hit the comment length limit. XD

Avengers v.1 #197: When Iron Man steps down as team leader, Steve's afraid it's because of him.

New Avengers v.2 #2: The Avengers all thought Cap's "Rick/Bucky thing" was weird, but Tony understood. And can I just say that the Oral History of the Avengers is a brilliant thing? XD

I know you're waiting on Avengers: Prime stuff, but let me just nominate the cover of #2 while I'm thinking about it: In which staring longingly isn't enough for Tony - he can't stop himself from reaching for Steve, too. (This issue? Good lord, the subtext is barely sub. LOL.)

Avengers: The Origin, #5: When Iron Man thinks about the future, Cap's one of the first people he envisions. (Absolutely gorgeous artwork on this mini, btw.)

And more odd little things. (I'm working my way through the main series again, but I had to wander off and poke at the interesting little minis they've done, for a while. :)
Avengers Fairy Tales #1: If the Captain doesn't plan it, it's not fun.
Avengers Fairy Tales #4: The Tin Man is the one who asks the Cowardly Lion to join the journey... and when can Cap ever turn him down? (Also? This mini... beautiful, beautiful artwork.)
