Somehow, in all that I zeroed in on the words "six-picture deal".

I would pay for six movies of that. Oh yes. I'm not entirely sure they could script so badly I wouldn't call it worth it, as long as he grinned like he does in the photo at least once per film.

Well, that will include other franchise films he's in, like Avengers. I don't know what the other four will be though.

They have Samuel L Jackson booked for eight or nine. I think they're just planning long - six pictures is likely vague thoughts of an Avengers trilogy and a Cap trilogy if the first ones do well. (Although I'd hope he'd guest in Iron Man 3 :D)

I have the article in front of me; it says Marvel originally wanted a nine-picture deal, with a Captain America trilogy, an Avengers trilogy, and three other Marvel movies to be named later, but they ended up agreeing on six pictures (doesn't say which six, but it's got to be the Cap and Avengers trilogies).

Also in the article: "Evans began prepping for the role by doing what anyone would do in his situation: He went online and read what the fans thought of his casting."
