Do you have a particular Marvel lady you'd like to see most? Although Carol and Wanda are my favorite, I think Jan or Monica might be the best fit for the movie verse at the moment. Jan would be a nice contrast to Nat's cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor.

Butting in with my opinion, I think Ultimate Jan would fit in well as a scientist!

If Cap's going to meet up with social worker Sam, there's also good opportunity for cop or PI Misty Knight and so of course Colleen Wing.

Carol would be great, but I really want her to have her own origin movie, a good one. (Or perhaps she could share one with Rhodey? They're both airforce, so it wouldn't be too hard to plot. I'd really like Marvel to go the co-movies route, as I love how the team bounce of each other.)

I also would like it if they brought Liv Tyler back as Betty Ross because Liv Tyler Liv Tyler Liv Tyler.

Also, Valkyrie in Thor 2! Sif proved women could be warriors, so there can be some following the path she broke. :D

Ultimates as a universe should be approached with caution, certainly, but it is with a straight if slightly bemused face I can tell you Millar handles it all... pretty well. o_0 The characters are pretty brash updates, but there's some very nice moments, and Bryan Hitch's art is excellent. It's worth trying out the first Ultimates book to see if you like it - but if you go in expecting movie or 616 characterisation, you'll probably be disappointed. Warning, there's a graphic and lengthy scene of domestic violence in there, too.

Seriously, War Machine and Warbird! Meant to be.

Liv Tyler. If she can't be Betty Ross she would make an excellent Spider-Woman. (I wonder who owns her rights?) And then she and Carol can be besties.

Ultimates was hand on heart some of Hitch's best work. His Steve is gorgeous, and cries perfect emo tears, and his Tony is a ball of cheery insolence. The domestic violence scene is graphic, but I would say that narratively, that plot is handled pretty well by Millar.

She-Hulk would be great! Although I would like it if their first venture into superheroines was a character not quite so closely bound with a male hero - which is why Black Widow would be perfect, I think. (I know, Carol also has the Captain Marvel connection, but I think her story would easily work without him, especially as he hasn't appeared in movieverse, and she's less, um, thematically bound with him.) Oh, I also wouldn't mind Carol as she is in Ultimates - she's a Badass Normal there.

Yeah, Spider-Woman's origin isn't really connected to Spider-Man, but they might have sold the rights as a bundle?

Ultimate scientist!Jan would be great, although I admit I'm very fond of fashionista!Jan. She could be both, of course.

I would love if Marvel started doing Heroes for Hire characters. Misty and Colleen would rock any movie, no question. I know they've talked about doing a Luke Cage movie, but honestly I think the ladies would be more fun to watch.

I know they were hesitating on using Luke Cage, Carol, and Jessica Jones in part because of the tv show AKA Jessica Jones that is in the works, but ABC officially passed on it so who knows if they will open up now? Although they still seem to be selling it around.

In related news, apparently ABC is considering a new Hulk tv show for 2013? I wonder how that would work out...I'm guessing not well.

I agree. I am a bit behind with New Avengers and Avengers because I read the Italian translated issues but I don't like what the author did (is doing) with Jessica and Clint... DD: just when Jessica and Carol were so close.

Yes indeed to more ladies! I would love to see She-Hulk on the big screen, too. (Especially since this Bruce was so awesome, I'd like to hope they'd do an equally awesome job with Jen.)

It would be awesome, if done right. So so awesome. (I'll admit I was never much of a Hulk fan in the comics, but I've always loved Jen.)

Cass is my favorite Batgirl, I love her so very, very much.

If it had been a couple of years ago, I would have totally wished for Lucy Lawless, because she even looks a bit like how "She-Hulk is drawn.

I love Barbara too, but I'm with you on liking it best when she was Oracle and Cass was Batgirl. Cass also has my favorite version of the Batgirl suit.
