What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? Hands down, the "You've got a condition" line. That was definitely where I laughed the loudest. After that, my favorite was the final end-credits scene. I am such a sucker for teams eating and relaxing together.

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? More Steve & Tony interaction. More Black Widow character arc. Hmm... maybe Jan Van Dyne or Jen Walters or Monica Rambeau.

Any exciting fandom plans? Not sure, life is so busy right now. But I do have a fanvid in the works.

Fox made a deal so that Hunger Games gets her in the fall and Xmen in January for filming. The article I read makes it sound like they intend to use her contract for more potential movies too.

They're like the Norse gods. Clint and Thor actually have a whole precanon history that involves a lot of drinking, broing around, and Thor hitting on Clint's mom. (He probably hit that, but Clint never wants to know.)

Tony fails at helping, and then Dummy pats him on the head. Tony is sad for a moment, and then he remembers that he is a genius, so he builds a super tazer for Bruce to give to Darcy to win her over. Fury confiscates it for being 'inhumane' and Tony pouts some more.

Darcy is a Food Network junky and watches EVERY episode of Weird Foods with Andrew Zimmern, because if it wouldn't make someone gag, then it's not worth making. Gary's twin sister is head of purchasing for a shoe store in the city. He can get Darcy and Natasha shoes at cost! :D

I've been meaning to start baking again too. I haven't made muffins in a while, maybe that'll be next week.

And Tony is constantly bitching about how low-tech everything is, so Steve brings him along to the Stark Expo, which is where Tony sees his dad for the first time, so he finally shuts up. Steve thinks he's just impressed with the car, but Bucky notices the family resemblence, and gets even more suspicious. He drags Tony to see Howard, which is when Steve sneaks away to enlist (I think that's how it happens. I need to watch the movie again, this is shameful). Tony has to flail through the introduction, but he and Howard manage to hit it off talking shop, and Tony is completely freaking out because he's getting along with HIS DAD, who is YOUNGER than him. And Bucky is still suspicious.

When Tony finally reveals the truth, standing in front of the time machine, offering to take him to the future, Bucky totally shouts "I knew it!"

My most recent projects were peanut butter cream cheese stuffed pumpkin bread and my best friend's wedding cakes. So much fun! Next up are honey bee cupcakes and Avenger themed sugar cookies. Do you have a particular Marvel lady you'd like to see most? Although Carol and Wanda are my favorite, I think Jan or Monica might be the best fit for the movie verse at the moment. Jan would be a nice contrast to Nat's cool-as-a-cucumber demeanor.

If Cap's going to meet up with social worker Sam, there's also good opportunity for cop or PI Misty Knight and so of course Colleen Wing.

Carol would be great, but I really want her to have her own origin movie, a good one. (Or perhaps she could share one with Rhodey? They're both airforce, so it wouldn't be too hard to plot. I'd really like Marvel to go the co-movies route, as I love how the team bounce of each other.)

I also would like it if they brought Liv Tyler back as Betty Ross because Liv Tyler Liv Tyler Liv Tyler.

Ultimates as a universe should be approached with caution, certainly, but it is with a straight if slightly bemused face I can tell you Millar handles it all... pretty well. o_0 The characters are pretty brash updates, but there's some very nice moments, and Bryan Hitch's art is excellent. It's worth trying out the first Ultimates book to see if you like it - but if you go in expecting movie or 616 characterisation, you'll probably be disappointed. Warning, there's a graphic and lengthy scene of domestic violence in there, too.

Liv Tyler. If she can't be Betty Ross she would make an excellent Spider-Woman. (I wonder who owns her rights?) And then she and Carol can be besties.

Ultimates was hand on heart some of Hitch's best work. His Steve is gorgeous, and cries perfect emo tears, and his Tony is a ball of cheery insolence. The domestic violence scene is graphic, but I would say that narratively, that plot is handled pretty well by Millar.

She-Hulk would be great! Although I would like it if their first venture into superheroines was a character not quite so closely bound with a male hero - which is why Black Widow would be perfect, I think. (I know, Carol also has the Captain Marvel connection, but I think her story would easily work without him, especially as he hasn't appeared in movieverse, and she's less, um, thematically bound with him.) Oh, I also wouldn't mind Carol as she is in Ultimates - she's a Badass Normal there.

Yeah, Spider-Woman's origin isn't really connected to Spider-Man, but they might have sold the rights as a bundle?

I would love if Marvel started doing Heroes for Hire characters. Misty and Colleen would rock any movie, no question. I know they've talked about doing a Luke Cage movie, but honestly I think the ladies would be more fun to watch.

I know they were hesitating on using Luke Cage, Carol, and Jessica Jones in part because of the tv show AKA Jessica Jones that is in the works, but ABC officially passed on it so who knows if they will open up now? Although they still seem to be selling it around.

In related news, apparently ABC is considering a new Hulk tv show for 2013? I wonder how that would work out...~~I'm guessing not well.~~

I really hope so! I generally prefer television shows to movies as a storytelling format, and I think Jessica Jones would be perfect for TV. She's not a big spectacle superhero like Thor or Iron Man, her stories are more intimate, and she has issues enough to fuel several story arcs.

Here's to hoping Avengers' success lands Jessica Jones a network!

Completely butting in here to ask if you're reading the new Wonder Woman comic, and if so, if you have any thought on it..? I just recently went on a Wonder Woman reading spree, & I'd love to hear some opinions.

Ah, I'm not much of a DC person so the DCnU didn't affect me emotionally. I had read the previous run of Batwoman and have the issues of the current run sitting on my coffee table. Are you enjoying that series? The covers are so gorgeous I'm afraid the interiors won't live up ;-)

Wonder Woman... well, I really love the art. And the story for the most part is holding my interest. It's very heavily entwined with greek mythology, which I like. But the Amazons come off as complete douches, which makes me sad because I want the DC Amazons to be awesome and strong and compassionate warriors who are *not* bloodthirsty or rapists or killers of male infants.

Beyond that, I haven't really emotionally connected with any of the characters. The stuff they do is interesting, but I don't feel invested in whether they succeed. Much, at any rate. Diana befriends a normal mortal woman and I suppose I want that woman to get through the story okay. Everyone else, meh.

That makes perfect sense, and yeah, it sounds like we've got the same problem. Which is really too bad, as Kate Kane, Wonder Woman, (and, well, Oracle) are the three DC women in which I've had *any* investment. I guess I can look forward to the tasteful sex scene, at least! ;-)

When you say Wonder Woman's characterization was peaking before the DCnU, was that J. Michael Straczynski's run? I read the first trade of his run and enjoyed it a lot. I should see if the library has more of his run collected - I liked how bluntly heroic Diana was and how the surviving Amazons were the good guys.

You're right. I'd rather have this current Wonder Woman series than none at all. I do wish I could have this series's art with Michael Straczynski's characterization, though. I liked her costume-with-pants but her cleavage was rather overwhelming. I really do like the stylization of the current run's art, but yeah, Straczynski really wrote Diana as a compelling, heroic woman.

Carol and Wanda somehow became my femslash OTP. Although to be fair, I ship Carol and Jessica Drew also. And Carol/Salia the astronaut from the classic Ms. Marvel run. Basically, Carol/all the ladies. And I'm so excited for the Captain Marvel series!

I've been thinking a bit about podficcing ~~oh god if I only had the time~~. Any random tidbit of podficcing wisdom you'd care to share with me? What software do you use?

I use Audacity and would highly recommend it. There are literally ZILLIONS of tutorials online so you can pretty much find the answer to anything but I was basically able to use it with only the most basic knowledge.

podfic_tips - there are a bunch of tutorials on there that were easy to understand and really gave me a good platform to start off (weird things like how to remove background noise etc that you just don't think about!)

Have you read the Avengers fic on AO3 that takes place in the Armored Adventures Universe? I just finished it, and it was really good.

Context is for the weak! And it's not like it actually makes Obadiah Stane staring into your soul in slow motion more or less magical.

Nope; I don't actively look for fic for that cartoon. Possibly because it's sort of an AU fic in and of itself and it does a pretty good job of fleshing out the characters on its own. :3

I sort of wish I could manage that, but I have an obsessive personality; plus I love meta, so half the fun of immersing myself in fandom is analysing the characters and story developments. I really, really don't want to know how much money I've spent on classic Doctor Who DVDs and audio plays the last couple of months only).

And I love reading your analysis of the characters and meta and all that good stuff, because it gives me ideas, and perspective, while I can still stay sort of objective. (plus I find it's a lot easier to avoid fandom wank if you're not too deeply immersed. I hate confrontation)

I have so much love for Carol and Jess, both in regular and shippy ways. ♥ And after the Avengers movie, I'm particularly intrigued by the possibilities of a Spider-Woman movie, considering Jess' history with HYDRA and later with SHIELD; there's an interesting theme that could be explored there I think, about moral grey zones and collectivism vs. individualism (and perhaps the Avengers team becoming a bridge between the two?). Social commentary and superheroes are two of my favourite things (which is why a movie like this is probably never going to happen, because who wants to think while watching shit blow up?).

Yes. Yes, this is a good idea. I have an almost embarrassing amount of love for that series, moreso than for any Marvel cartoon. Even when the animation looks like... that.

Carol and Jess are the best. Regular and shippy! ~~But especially shippy.~~ And I would watch the hell out of that movie -- I would watch it five times in a row, pretty much. There's a lot of potential there! And hey, as long as things keep blowing up, what's the harm in a little social commentary? You just have to space the thoughtful in-depth moments out in between the explosions. I'm convinced that's key.

It's such a good cartoon, even with the uh, somewhat dubious animation choices. I love how engaging it is and how fun the characters and their interactions are and ;aljfaf c'mon it's like a canon high school AU, who doesn't love that.

Yes! I really need to read more with both of them, I just haven't had the time lately. I'm the sort of person who needs to immerse oneself in a character before writing them, otherwise I'd love to contribute to the (sadly lacking) amount of shippy stuff with them.

Adding explosions with regular intervals would clearly be the best way to get Thoughtful Stuff past the radar. I just really enjoy movies/books/comics more if I can dig into them, unearth deeper themes and analyse the psychology behind characters and the structural narrative. ~~It's my mutant power. Metawoman, finding depth where there is none!~~

It's basically a really well-made high school AU, yeah. I adore the characterisation, how the characters are different but still believably them and the character development that occurs; how Tony definitely has issues and this is acknowledged although not very explicitly, because this is a children's cartoon, but still enough to give me feelings. And the snarky humour, which is the best kind of humour. <3

Ugh, same. I've been really bad about reading comics lately but I feel like I'm probably going to be heading back into that particular fray pretty soon. There should definitely be more shippy stuff about them, though! I would love to write something, once I. Write all these other things on my list. Clearly this was the only thing missing in The Avengers. If there had been meta I probably wouldn't have found some of the action sequences a bit too long and tedious. |Db But yeah, I think the best "deep" movies are those that actually rely on a story and a bit of action instead of having lots of characters moodily gazing into the mirror and having freaky dream sequences while expecting the audience to sit, nod and marvel at the genius of it all. ~~I make do with the morning robe I wear staying up to 4 AM browsing the internet.~~

I rewatched the first season over Winter break with a friend who was visiting from abroad, might be time to do so again... It's just a really good series, and since it's pretty long rewatching only makes it easier to discern certain themes and developments that I don't think you'd necessarily catch if you watch the episodes as they air.

Avengers vs. X-Men just looks so bad. Not even entertaining bad. And I'm sorry, I love the X-Men, but when they're the ones (apparently -- I've only read solicits) being the reasonable party, you know something is wrong. Not to butt in, but I am reading Avengers vs X-men and find it to be delightfully ridiculous in that really good bad!fic way. But I did want to clarify that I've read all the issues so far and completely think the X-Men (other than Wolverine and Beast who are on the Avengers side) are crazycakes. Like the Avengers are clearly more reasonable in the writing. I mean even Magneto is telling Cyclops he's going a bit too far.

It was particularly amusing to me because Cap was on the comm with Tony at the time and Tony is all "can't you multitask and talk while you fight?" And then Steve is all like "I'm going to need another uniform."

I don't know, I'm so easily amused. Basically it needs to be either really good or deliciously bad to hold my attention. This series is so melodramatically ridiculous that it's entertaining me.

The entire premise just made me go "ugh" and the panels and complaints I've seen floating around doesn't make it any better (Steve throwing Wolverine out of a plane? Tony punching Steve and Steve threatening to break his hands? Really? Really?). But yeah, Bronze Age comics ftw. I have a particular weakness for Englehart-era Doctor Strange. Those comics are just so delightfully weird and psychedelic and sometimes surprisingly profound. <3

I had to pull out of both BBs I was supposed to write earlier this year because of lack of spare time; I've done NaNoWriMo for the past two years, so I like to think I have a bit of discipline down, but a Big Bang is supposed to actually be PUBLISHED and before that your artist has to read it and... There's probably a lot more, but those were the first that popped up. Actually, my only complaints would be about those things that weren't in the movie.

Pretty much everything that was in the movie was amazing, so that's understandable. Apparently there's 40 minutes of footage that they cut which I'm crossing my fingers will be on the DVD.

He kind of is. He tucks the Avengers in to bed and reads them stories.

Sings them lullabies and puts them into time outs. Also makes them hug it out when they get mean to each other.

Oh God, Steve and Tony would need to have SO MANY HUGS. And Hulk would just hug everyone, whether they're mean or not. Coulson just sighs and gets a broom to deal with the structural damage that usually comes from the Hulk

Tony would totally pick fights with Steve on purpose just so he can get hugs from Steve. Steve obviously wouldn't understand and thinks Tony just doesn't like him but gets sad/hurt when Tony has to (occasionally) hug the other Avengers. Because Tony is kind of a jerk. Coulson would know though. Coulson always knows when his ~~children~~ Avenger team is having a crises.

Huh, that's interesting. I've only ever played with an iPad twice (both times putting movies and books on it for a friend) and I never noticed that but then again he only used it occasionally to check on his sports so there was a lot of space that could be used.

It's okay to be in denial, I think the majority of us are. And to think of how he's going to react when he finds out what Fury did to his precious cards...

It depends on the number of books. People have found that it will really eat away at the "other" memory if they have a lot of them, which compared to some people, I don't. Luckily, I haven't got a lot on it so it's not too bad that it's taking up so much.

Hah, I always think of that :) He's not going to be happy when he finds out. Fury's going to have to do a lot of making up to him.

I guess it would make sense since the iPad isn't really made for reading like the Nook or other readers, where storing lots of books is their primary service. Like for the Nook tablet, I have 16 gigs of space but only 1-2gigs of space that can be used for movies, pictures and music. But I have a SD card that I keep all that other stuff on and it works out great.

My guess is Fury would just throw Steve at him and call it good.

This fandom is the second non-Japanese-game/anime-related fandom to grab so much of my attention in... ever. The first was X-Men First Class... so in short, I guess Marvel's just been grabbing my attention lately?

...I honestly think I get attracted to pairings somewhat depending on the angst factor. ^^"

:D i've been a fan of spiderman, batman and superman since i was a child. x-men never particularly moved me until x-mfc. but the avengers? oh dear. i didn't even know about them until the first iron man movie came out. i loved it. and thought 'i need to slash tony with someone. he needs to be in my otp but who should i slash him with?' and a few years later i found out about tony/steve and it made sense!
...i get into surprisingly many otps because there's a character i like who needs to be in one. XD but the added angst and friendship and etc. is just. perfect. i love this ship so much. <3 (and i get an excuse to read comics again. :D)

I remember watching the X-Men cartoons as a kid. Some of them at least, and never an entire season. Then the X-Men movies came out and I quite liked them, but it was only XMFC that got me completely head-over-heels with them. Well, with Erik and Charles, really. I remember being completely heartbroken at certain points in the movie because, having watched the original trilogy, you know a lot of things aren't going to end well. I also have vague recollections of Fantastic Four cartoons... I think. (it's been too long)

So I'm a total latecomer to the Avengers fandom (I didn't even watch Iron Man when it came out, and only had a cursory "oh it's showing in the cinema" knowledge of it). Honestly, my knowledge of their existence was via an XMFC fanfic that had Steve/Tony in it (basic premise: Charles was hanging out with the Avengers, picks up on how much Steve and Tony love each other but doesn't think the other feels that way, the UST got too much and then Charles eventually outs them and Steve and Tony get together). I got more curious about them as a pairing because the author mentioned Civil War in her end-notes and how it split them apart.

Point: I sometimes ship a pairing even before I know their canon. ^^" And I just amuse myself sometimes whenever I remember that the reason why I got interested in checking them out was because of them going separate ways in canon. My brain, IDEK.

oh, i'm totally a latecomer as well. i've only been around for a year or so, but on a lurker scale.

but that's totally a good reason to get into a ship XD and pfft canon, not knowing the canon is sometimes an advantage. it lets you view something with fresh eyes and you generate your own headcanons and perceptions, and the canon will only add to that. :D

It's entirely possibly a whole lot of the desire for the idea came from wanting to see Coulson and Steve interact in all the adorable ways I can think of. Which starts with Coulson putting Steve's drawings on the fridge and the meandered somewhere to Coulson tucking Steve into bed after he had a nightmare.

What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? Natasha's opening scene. I... have a particular weakness for that move of Natasha's that involves her wrapping her legs round someone's neck and slamming then into the ground. I've stared rapt at so many gifs of her doing it to Happy. But the whole scene was great, the way she cocked her eyebrows at the Russian guy, and the somersaulting through the air on a chair.

The arc Pacheho does is in trade as Ultimate Avengers: The Next Generation. It's fairly late on, but not a bad jumping on point. It's... Millar-y in places, though, especially issue 5. On the other hand, it focuses on Steve and gives a decent insight into his brain, which is... actually rather scary. (It also introduces Tony's twin Gregory.)

Also, warning, the Ultimate Captain America miniseries may tempt you. It has some glorious art. But it is poison and terrible and the characterisation of Cap is shamefully bad, and actively contradicts much other characterisation. If anyone tries to foist it upon you, kick them inna fork and run.

Oh yes, in particular in Ultimates the serum has noted effects on the brain functions. 616 Steve is supposed to have increased multi-tasking abilities, aiding his tactical grasp of a situation, but Ult Steve has that aspect highlighted much more. Tony's twin does not get as much panel time as one might like - Millar left Marvel to write independent comics, and wrapped up that plot. They do have some delightful bickering, however.

I heard Scarlett did a lot of her own scenes, and a lot of training - her directors commented on her enthusiasm for action sequences. But part of the reason she took her hair down to fight in IM2 is to help hide the stunt double, so I think the more spectacular moves are probably doubled.

Oh definitely! I've done some martial arts, and as long as you aren't like a master black belt you aren't allowed to do such stuff in any realistic way because you could seriously hurt your practice partner.

What was your favorite Avengers movie moment? All of it? ~~Cap's ass in the boxing scene.~~ I've seen it four times so far and every time there is something new I love. A few faves: Hulk smashing Loki, Loki's fear of the storm, Thor headbutting Tony, Cap saving the man in Germany and not kneeling to Loki followed by Tony's arrival, Capsicle, Steve trying to comfort Tony about Coulson and failing, Schwarma, the way Loki's staff went "tink" on the arc reactor, Cap totally almost giving Tony CPR darn the Hulk for interfering, Natasha out tricking the trickster god...pretty much everything...

What do you want in the next Marvel movie? Well the thing I most want to see is an angsty movieverse Winter Soldier arc in a Cap movie. I would also love to see more women and more team bonding.

Any exciting fandom plans? I can't get the recurring concept of sentiment that ran through the movie out of my head so there may be some fic on the way about that. I also keep toying with the idea of writing my own Steve/Tony flavored Winter Soldier movieverse angst and I really want to get into Loki's head for a fic...I can share space with the cats...

It really never gets old. I couldn't even hear the "puny god" line until the third time I saw the movie. Also, that CGI is spectacular...*rambles*

I didn't hear the "puny god" the first time either. (I got home from my second showing and was like, "FAMILY, did you know the Hulk calls Loki a "puny god"?!" They were unimpressed.) The CGI is amazing and I love it and just want to embrace the screen is that normal.

I found the book to be very depressing (I like happy endings, so sue me), but I liked the way it expanded Oz. The musical is just so happy though, comparatively. Also, I totally ship Elphaba/Glinda

This really awesome little moment where Tony and Steve are fixing the engine, and a bad guy throws a grenade, and Steve leaps off the walkway into the air and bats it away like a soccer goalie. Tony's unexpected little "go team!" moment after he nearly dies. Pepper having 12% of a moment.

Wow, you have good eyes! I'm American, and it looked like a normal bill to me, but I admit that I didn't look that closely. Yes, all US bills are green, and they always have been, although they haven't always been the same shade of green. Recently they started adding in some other colors in order to make counterfeiting more difficult. That may have been what you noticed. Wikipedia says that there were some variations in the design details of the bill during the 30s, though. Now I'm really curious!

did it really look that normal? i'm not 100% certain but it looked a lot more like a ten euro note to me. i know it *wasn't* a ten euro note, but the way the number was printed was more euro-ish than what i know of the regular ten dollar bill. i had the thought 'is that monopoly money no of course not that would be a dollar bill from the forties wait, why does steve have old dollar bills did no one update him on that'. but it could just be that it's a super new dollar bill i've never seen before :P

The newest ten dollar bills are kind of peachy-orange colored, it's a little strange.

And then he gets kidnapped, but Steve is a badass who comes and saves him.

But obviously in booties and a shower cap because Tony got kidnapped right around bathtime and that's unacceptable, dammit.

The shower cap was American Flag print, so it's close enough. He brought his rubber duck as backup.

The kidnappers are laughing, but then he starts kicking ass with a towel, and the rubber duck is armed, and it's over pretty quick. And then Steve is standing over Tony in a hero pose, giving him a 'I am disappoint' face, because bath time is his favorite time

Team bonding. They need team bonding. Since the Avengers Initiative was canceled on SHIELD's end, they need to find some other excuse to assemble unofficially. And then party. Or something. IDK I just want them to have fun and all be bros. And possibly all sleep together, because I walked out of the movie shipping everything and everyone.

AIM really are. But they're fun and handy. They don't need reasons, which makes them perfect stock villains.

He's losing at strip HORSE (the basketball game), so close enough! The gif is from What's Your Number which I thought was actually a delightful movie despite being someone who doesn't generally like rom-com. At the very least it is full of Chris Evans being his sexy self, and I have since been compelled to write a Tony/Steve AU of it which I hope will one day see the light of day. Because we all need a little more naked Steve in our lives.

That was perfect. And I loved RDJ's acting. You could see that Tony hadn't anticipated being brainwashed and was about to go "oh shit" before he was saved by the reactor. Again.

I believe Marvel picks its main leads based on lickability. I have yet to be proven wrong.

I loved how casual Tony was just pouring a drink all in his civilian clothes. He genuinely surprised Loki in that movie. So did Natasha. I don't think Loki was quite prepared for humans like them.

Lickability is an excellent way to cast in my opinion. It's worked out quite well for them...and us...

Tony is a master of keeping his cool. After IM 1&2, the man has it down.

Really, 90% of Loki's problems were caused by underestimating humans. (The other 10% are His Issues.) He said it straight up to Thor, he thinks he's better than them, and everytime he acts on that he got his ass handed to him. Fitting.

Oh completely. Pretty much every diatribe Loki went on could be seen as his own issues. Projecting much? But I still had to love that Nat beat him at his own game and that Tony was just so badass awesome. The moment when Tony figured out the plan and also realized that he was actually a diva like Loki was one of my favorites too.

LOL I loved that. If you're watching Steve in that scene, you can see when he figures it out. Specifically, the word "diva". After that he's just sort of nodding along, waiting for Tony to make the connection. It's beautiful.

I know! It calls back the moment when Steve was talking about Stark Tower at the beginning. Steve may have been very very wrong about Tony's willingness to sacrifice but he does have his diva number.

That is a good gif and you should feel good.

Cameos! I would love to see cameos. Or even just little shoutouts, so long as they fit and feel natural.

I loved the beginning of it, but then it started to kind of... slide and then they went the killing people off place and it just. Wasn't fun to read. But considering all of that, I thought the Teddy and Billy scene was remarkably lovely, and I loved a lot of the Tommy bits.

I am pretty impressed with how natural everything has felt so far. Fingers crossed that they can keep it up! And yesssss Maria Hill should be in all the movies. Looking disapproving. While being in car chases. Awesome car chases.

I honestly thought that was why they killed Coulson. To bring in an actual comic character and another woman to fill a similar role now that things are off and running. And that car chase was awesome. Driving backwards in a tunnel.

That would make a lot of sense. (Beyond, you know, this is Joss Whedon, here to leave a reminder that he can strike at any time.) As much as I like Coulson, I'd be pretty excited to see Maria Hill showing up in that way. That chase was badass.

I actually saw an interview where Joss said they made him kill Coulson...like he agreed it worked...but it wasn't his idea and he wanted the fans to know it. LOL.
