Summary: Tony Stark doesn’t do commitment. So Steve finds it weird – but not impossible – to deal with Tony suddenly bringing home dates that look like him. Until one of Tony’s one-night-stands, who could be a double for Steve, turns out to be not quite as disposable as the rest of Tony’s conquests – and Steve’s repressed crush on Tony starts to become problematic...

So I want to know where my morning went. It was early, I was going to go out and run errands, and then I opened this and now it's like one >_> I BLAME you.

It's absolutely lovely. I was literally laughing out loud at some parts, especially at the way the team interacted with each other. You wrote them so well. And the absolutely amusing play on all the Cris Evans characters, thumbs up. When they were sitting on the stairs talking about Tony doing something stupid, I'm pretty sure I was leaning towards the screen trying to shove them together with my brain. Clearly that didn't work. <3

There was a smattering of British-isms throughout that made me quirk my head when they came out of Captain America's mouth, but that's okay. Trust me, it didn't ruin it. Though I was a little curious as to why you picked a dragon? Where did it come from?! Did somebody make it? I'm over thinking this, I know.

What I really wanted to say is thank you and I loved it.

Um, I don't know about betas, I've only been on this forum since this morning <_<. I joined to throw my fics at people. I wouldn't mind betaing your stuff, I'd say I'm a pretty good editor since I've actually had classes on it (seriously not trying to brag, because it's taken me a long time to get there). And I'm a Texas girl, so I could point out what Captain America shouldn't say ^_^ But it really was fine, the rest of the fic was too good to care. You can write tension incredibly well. I'm not usually so absorbed in stories that I forget what I was supposed to be doing. LOL, it's cool. A dragon is just a smidge cliche which was the only reason it stuck out to me. It didn't matter much, it was just the fuel to the Steve/Tony flame (pun totally intended, slap me if you want). They do handle a lot of robots too, so it was kind of nice to see something different. Also, I need to read about Hammer's apocalyptic television...

Also, how come LJ took the formatting out of my comment... >_> WTF

LMAO! They are, aren't they?

I don't criticize, at least I try not to. The only way for people to improve without feeling like they're the worst writer in the world (I've had bad critics, I've been there) is to give constructive feedback. If I think something doesn't work, I'll explain why and make suggestions for improvement. Being that it is YOUR fic, you can choose whether or not you want to take my advice.

And really, the British-isms are expected if you're British. I shudder to think of me trying to write a Sherlock fiction without throwing out more Americanisms than dialog. Maybe if I have a British character one day, you can help me make him more realistic :D

There's a huge difference. You have to be open to people trying to help you improve, but harsh criticism that doesn't have an ounce of positive feedback is hard for anyone to hear. I don't think it's rude >_> They're all superheroes. I could be wrong though. NANANAnananaNANANA, BATMAN!!!! There, I've done it too.

I adore Sherlock. I mostly read the Sherlock stories because I've been a little too shy about trying to write one. Mostly for the Americanisms. Right now my soul belongs to Marvel, but maybe later :D
