Recs

Hey everyone!  My name's Fancy and I just recently became enamoured with this pairing.  Ive been a Marvel fan forever but somehow missed the gloriousness that is these two boys as a pairing.  As with most of my fandom-obsessions I dove in head first and have devoured any fic I can find.

And now I'm at a loss.

I read almost eveything at "Tales of Suspense" and most of the great fics on this comm, but I want MORE!

Does anyone have any recs for fics that they love?  or places hiding in the corners of the internets that hide quality fic?  I love long and plotty but adore short and steamy as well as anything in between.  I'm just not a huge fan of Mpreg though.  If anyone can help a bored fangirl let me know!

Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome to the weekly [livejournal.com profile] cap_ironman/[community profile] cap_ironman newsletter.

As noted in comments of the last newsletter, a few Cap and IM announcements came out of NYCC last week. Two new minis for Steve: Astonishing Captain America by Andy Diggle and Adi Granov in July 2011, and Ultimate Captain America with Jason Aaron and Ron Garney in February 2011. If you're into the X-Books, James Asmus is writing a three-part annual crossover between Steve Rogers: Super Soldier, Namor: The First Mutant and Uncanny X-Men

Also, Invincible Iron Man is renumbering as of January, and Matt Fraction mentioned some details about what will be in Iron Man #500.

Only Steve or Tony comic out this week is the final issue of Ed Brubaker's Steve Rogers: Super Soldier. Preview for that here.

Finally, if you're a new or recent member, hello and welcome! Our rules are here, and in the profile; this includes our warnings policy, so please read. If you're interested in the ship, you may want to read the Ship Manifesto, and consult the list of Slashy Moments (Now at one hundred and fifty moments). If you're planning to write for the comm, there are some tips on writing the pairing here, and the Avengers in general here; if you're having trouble finding a beta, or would like to offer your services as a beta, our beta list is here. If you're looking for the comm archive, it's Tales of Suspense, and it's automated - you can create an account and upload your fic. if you have any questions, you can comment here or PM a mod, that's me, [livejournal.com profile] garrideb and [livejournal.com profile] valtyr.

And feel free to post on-topic or off-topic stuff in the comments to this post! Just keep it reasonably safe for work, please. :)
