2021 Rec Week: Multiverse Monday!

In honor of our Universe Medley Fest, we're kicking off Rec Week with Multiverse Monday!

Travel the multiverse with your recommendations! Share your faves from Marvel's various universes—we want to see those Avengers Assemble, 1872, Super Hero Squad and Iron Man: Armoured Adventures recs. Anything goes, including works where multiple universes are featured.

We welcome recs for fics, artwork, podfics, vids, manips, edits and more!

Note: Please mark major warnings for your recs, and let us know why you’re reccing a work.

2021 Rec Week Themes and Schedule

Multiverse Monday, July 19: Travel the multiverse with your recommendations.
Tropey Tuesday, July 20: Come and rec works that have your favourite tropes.
What-If Wednesday, July 21: Time to rec some AUs! Canon divergence, magic, fusions, modern-day settings… send them all in!
Different Media Thursday, July 22: A rec day highlighting fanwork types like moodboards, manips, fanvids, podfics and artworks!
Laugh out Loud Friday, July 23: What works have made you giggle, smirk, snort or smile lately? Which ones do you go back to for a pick me up of feel-good brain chemicals? Rec them and spread the joy!
Something New Saturday, July 24: Which gems have you fallen in love with or enjoyed over the last year? Share them with us today!
Cap-IM Sunday, July 25: Rec all your favorite works created for a cap-ironman challenge!

There are several ways to participate:

• Comment on the special daily posts that will go up on our Dreamwidth and Livejournal communities. (Anon commenting allows anyone to participate this way, even if you don’t have an account.)


• Reply directly to each rec day's Tumblr post that will go up on our Cap-Iron Man Tumblr page.


• Make a Tumblr post with your recommendations, mention @cap-ironman and tag it with #capimrecweek within the first five tags on the post. Please include the day’s theme somewhere so that we can reblog it on the right day.


• Post rec(s) on Twitter matching the day's theme and mention @ cap-ironman so that we can retweet it.


• Post rec(s) in the #stony-recs channel of our Cap-IM Challenges Discord server.

Cap-IM Big Bang 2021: Writers' Discord Chat #2

Thinking about joining Cap-IM Big Bang, but you’re not sure where to start? Got a question? Need inspiration or want to brainstorm ideas? Come join the very first Cap-IM BB Discord chat!

The second of this year’s limited-time chats will be held on Discord and is open to all writers who are planning to join Cap-IM Big Bang 2021. We will be running more chats over the coming weeks and each chat will be held at a different time, to give participants from different timezones a chance to tune in when it’s convenient.

This chat will be open between 6:00pm-9:00pm MET on 23th of July. (What time is that for me?)

We will also be reminding you about the chat closer to the time.

Your 2021 Cap-IM BB mods will be happy to help you with any questions, just pop in any time you like during chat hours.
