Hey y'all. First post, yay. *ahem*

I got a question about Tony's age. I know Steve was 27 when he got frozen, and is probably 30 (not counting the decades during which he was frozen) at this point, but how old is Tony? I can't find a birthday on Wiki, and I don't know if it has been mentioned in the comics. Anyone here know/have a rough estimate?

Strictly speaking, I'm following the "wait two days" posting rule, although if any mods want me to nudge the posting a few hours til later, I'd be happy to. My timezone is ahead of most folks', since I live in Asia.

Anyways, I'm not sure about this part. I made the exposition for "WHO'S THE MOTHER", but it didn't turn out as I wanted, exactly. Though from here, I think I can nudge in a lot more Steve/Tony.

Thank you so much for the supportive comments 8D I'd never have written so feverishly without them. Really though, comments make all the difference, so thank you!

Warnings are whited out to make sure there's no spoiling. Just highlight em if you want spoilers, anyway.

Title: Bridged Gaps (a 3490 fanfiction)
Author: Mozzarellaroses
Rating: For now, PG.
Warning/Spoilers: Alternate Universe, Original Characters and Stark-Rogers kids. And partial canon Pym-bashing and character death. And soon to come, incest and rape mentioned. Yeah, like Oedipus didn't already give it away.
Pairing: For now, seemingly one-sided Steve/Tony
Word Count: 4087
Beta: None. Mistakes are all mine, though I pride myself in making as few as possible.
A/N: Just to be clear, this is post-Civil war, post-Invasion, post-Dark Reign and such, and Hank's already Scientist Supreme to a degree that isn't all that important, near the Heroic age, although let's slap continuity in the face and pretend Steve's still Cap. Also, Clint's back to being Hawkeye, although the mighty comics haven't told me what'll happen with two Hawkeyes.  A little Steve/Tony here, though I'm terrible at that xP Also, Hank.

Summary: A hero codenamed Super Soldier appears out of nowhere from another universe to stop her world's Hank Pym. Unfortunately, she wasn't the only one who took the bridge. Now the super computer, "Oedipus REX" is causing trouble in the multi-verses.

Enjoy!
Part 4: "Of anonymity time cannot raise."  --Hart Crane, "To Brooklyn Bridge"

I recently started reading this really thought-provoking Graphic Novel called Irredeemable by Mark Waid and it set the plot bunnies loose in my mind. It's dark and a bit distrubing but ..pretty good.

Anyway I was thinking of writing some tony/cap inspired by this comic. So my question for discussion is this: What would it take to make Steve Rogers go bad?
Is he capable of going bad? We saw him be a bit of a rogue in Civil War but could he ever be considered a villian? What would have to happen in order for Captain America to go (for lack of a better term) to the dark side?

I've only been playing in this fandom for about three years now so I'm still pretty new. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Mods- I hope this post is alright. Let me know if it's outta line.

Hi all,

A quick reminder to you all - fics posted to the comm should have a 'beta' line in the header, where you thank your beta or just note you didn't use one. We do encourage authors to use a beta, and the comm maintains a beta list here. If you're quite new to ficcing, or haven't used a beta before, you can find a comm discussion post on betas and what they do here

Also, please be aware of our spamming policy - we have rules on posting frequency which can be found here. If you tend to write frequent, bite-size pieces, we ask you either save them up for a couple of days, or post them in your journal and then make a round-up post to the comm.

Thanks for your co-operation, guys!

The discussion about Evil Steve reminded me of a fic I wrote a while ago and never posted to the comm.

Title: Death of the Dream
Author: [livejournal.com profile] valtyr
Beta: None
Rating: NC-17
Wordcount: 2k
Contents/Warnings/Spoilers: Explicit rape.
Summary: Steve comes back from the dead. Tony's not as happy to see him as he thought he'd be.

Read on AO3. Not kidding about the rape.

If you wrote a dark/evil Steve, maybe link the story in the comments? Would be interesting to see people's takes.
