Hi all!

I finished watching the Avengers cartoon yesterday and posted a few thoughts about it here, mostly on Captain America, along with a couple reccy things, if you're interested.

Really enjoying this fandom so far, especially this community, so thanks everyone! ♥

Please pardon me, but I'm actually quite shy and kinda terrified. ^^;; I'm new to the fandom (thanks to the Captain America movie) and I've been lurking for a few months. This isn't my first written fic with these guys, but it's my first completed fic, though small it is. Comments and criticism are very much welcome! Please enjoy. :D

Welcome again to the [community profile] cap_ironman/[livejournal.com profile] cap_ironman newsletter. A quick PSA about tags - we have user tags to use when posting a fanwork, so that, say, a person who has just finished reading your fic can click on it to see what other fanworks you've posted here. The tags look like x: username so that they stick together in the alphabetic tag list. The first time you post a fanwork, a mod will have to create a tag for you (and we're pretty good about doing so, though please ask if we forget!) but after that you should use it every time you post a fanwork.

As always, the comment section of the newsletter is open for any on or off topic chatting.

Many fanworks this week! )

Finally, if you're a new or recent member, hello and welcome! Our rules are here, and in the profile; this includes our warnings policy, so please read. If you're interested in the ship, you may want to read the Ship Manifesto, and consult the list of Slashy Moments. If you're planning to write for the comm, there are some tips on writing the pairing here, and the Avengers in general here; if you're having trouble finding a beta, or would like to offer your services as a beta, our beta list is here. If you're looking for the comm archive, it's Tales of Suspense, and it's automated - you can create an account and upload your fic. If you're looking for a particular story, why not try [livejournal.com profile] cap_im_finders? If you have any questions, you can comment here or PM a mod, that's me, [personal profile] muccamukk, or [personal profile] valtyr.

Fic Summary: When World War II finally catches up to the United States, Tony has to fight the military, his friends, and his own feelings in order to keep a promise he made to himself: Take care of Steve.
Author's Notes: I owe more thanks than I can possibly express to Inoshi for her wonderful beta job, especially at short notice. She kept me very much on the right path for characterization and story flow. This story is a direct (noir-side) sequel to Indelible and I've been assured that it makes much more sense if you read that story first.

I was lucky enough to have two wonderful artists do artwork for this story:
Link to Art: [livejournal.com profile] angel_inoshi’s artwork is here, and [livejournal.com profile] taiyou_to_tsuki’s artwork is here. Please go and tell them how amazing they are.

There's also a fanmix for the story, over this way.

(Mods, may I please have a tag for Taiyou? There doesn't seem to be one. :( Thanks!) Thank you. :)
